NGC2736 The Pencil Nebula

The Pencil Nebula, a small part of the Vela Supernova Remnant near the Vela Pulsar. Around 815 light years from our Solar System. I hope to integrate it into my Vela SNR mosaic next year! It is moving at 644,000 KM/Hr relative to us presently.
8 hours exposure, comprising 2.5 hours each of Ha and Oiii + 1 hour each of RGB to get decent star colours.

Really nice Gary. I like the orientation and the good capture of all the filamentary stuff under the main object.

Very nice image. I imaged the same target in January but yours has better framing and much better nebulosity.
