Thanks Jeremy

I use a combination of the fully zoomed live view and the bahtinov mask which seems to work as I have an articulated DSLR screen but I would like to try a larger monitor and software analysis .

Just as Ray, I am using this, in combination with Bahtinov and zoom (with 60D).
With 450D, it is one of those.
