Ngc 3372_76EDPH

Another image using the 76EDPH @F4.5, 14 x 300sec exp. shot with the ST8300c. Comments, critical or otherwise welcome as usual.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Tony

Thank you Tony, I'm glad you like the colours. I agonize over that aspect of the processing & think I've got it sorted, then have a look at the image again the next day or whenever & think ' OMG, what was I thinking ? '.
All part of the learning curve I guess.
Cheers,
Tony

I just noticed your signature Tony - lots of eyepieces that can be cashed in for more imaging gear

The thought has crossed my mind. It started with aperture fever, then eyepiece deficiency followed by Tak envy & now it's refractosis & chronic imaging syndrome.
The Doctor says I'm better but I dunno.

Looking good, framing is a tad awkward but nicely processed!

Thank you Andy & I agree with your comment on the framing. I rotated the cam to include NGC 3293 & later wished I hadn't.
It's good to see some feedback from one of the 'top guns" here on the beginners forum.
Cheers,
Tony

Ha ha, no worries Tony, we all started there!
Sometimes we all just need a bit of encouragement

Nice how you snuck the little gem cluster in the frame too

Thank Martin, I was lucky enough to have a couple of clear nights when the new scope arrived. They've been few & far between though, it's rained out up here again atm. Cabin fever is setting in.

Cheers,
Tony

Fantastic work all round Tony! It's the type of image you'd find on a book cover. Well done!
