Thursday, January 21st, 2016 - 12.6 Day Old Moon (95% Illuminated)
Hello. This is my first post in "IceInSpace". Here are some images of the 12.6 day old Moon (95% illuminated). I took these last night using a Skyris 445M webcam attached to a Takahashi FSQ-106 EDX III and a TeleVue 2.5x Powermate. It was very windy so I was surprised the images turned out as well as they did. The Moon was 65 degrees above the horizon at capture time.
