aGetnt webcam is NOT 1.3Mp

I've received a reply from the seller (LiquidDigital) that states that the aGent webcam is only 640x480 (VGA) AVI capture, and MAY be capable of 1280x1024 when taking stills, using software (I read that as interpolation). He's offered a refund. The problem is supposedly with the supplied driver, the hardware is in theory capable of 1280x1024 (1.3MP).
So, those of you who are getting 1280x1024 out of it, how the hell are you doing it? What driver are you using, and what capture software?
Please HELLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!

Thanks,
Jason.

The Toucam is no different - it claims to be > 1 mp, but it's still 640x480 while taking a video.

You're right - it's the still image which is supposedly > 1 mp, and I think it's interpolated.

I haven't seen or heard of anyone getting 1280x1024 in video mode- can you show me a link?

Well, their web page for a start:
http://agent.liquiddigital.com.au/agentv1.htm
"Take 1.3-megapixel pictures and record videos at up to 1300 x 1024 resolution. Thats double the resolution of our competitors 640 x 480 megapixel cams!"
Where they also say it's a CCD, but the datasheet for the controller chip says it's for CMOS sensors.

And here on IIS:

Cheers,
Jason.
