Rosette with a hint of RGB stars...

Have finally got some RGB star data but blending it into the SHO image in Pixinsight has been a bit of challenge. I have more variety of star colour but still on the pinkish end in the middle. Its not soooo pink though so I guess that's a good thing? Update on a astrobin with a bit of a dramatic rotation thrown in.

Very good, Ben I reckon combining a star mask and a ColorMask might give you some options for removing the pink.

Cheers,
Rick.

Absolutely fine Leon I’ve seen so many versions of the Rosette now and there are so many gorgeous versions (particularly LRGB). One direction to go in I guess. Can I ask what it is about the colour you don’t like?

Hi Ben,
that's a top picture with strong noiseless colours and plenty of sharp detail.
Well done.

cheers

Working on it Should remember I do have a day job and a family too :-) All gets quite obsessive and with Rick sharing ever more wonderful tips and advice it’s hard to put the laptop down. Also thanks Allan: some things to keep building on.

Nice image - Details & Colour palette look fine to me too
Not much RGB star colour coming through though - maybe best to just delete the NB stars altogether & replace with the RGB ones
