Is everybody happy?

In these difficult times are you managing to keep happy?

Has the situation caused you to rethink long term plans?

Perhaps caused you to take up a new hobby or new interest...maybe revive an old hobby.

And please keep the replies non political so we can at least keep our wonderful moderators happy.

Had to change a few plans due to CoronaV, we were about to book a flight to Finland to inspect a house there so my dearly beloved would not have to have winters again... plan was to live 6mths on each side of the equator...

That's on indefinite hold now and the house may well be sold before we venture out of Oz.

But we're healthy, happy and have a few rolls of toilet paper in the cupboard.....

Careful what you wish for...I once wished I could spend six months in Sydney and six months in Tabulam...well I got my wish but I go back and forth every two weeks..however I do spend six months in each place.

Yes, despite being off work with little hope of returning in the next few months (performing arts job) I am settled and happy. I have rediscovered that walking a long way and back is very enjoyable. Jobs around the house and yard are much more fulfilling when you contemplate them for a week or so before actually doing them.

Nothing changed here. I've worked 72 days without a day off...I guess I was "essential" enough - no cowering awaiting my fate. Considering how many people I deal with per day, if anyone was going to get it, I would have. Didn't.

Happiness level

Happiness is inversely proportional to the cloud cover.

Today in Adelaide is the nadir. Grey and uncompromising. No sun, no fun :-((

But, tomorrow is another day :-))

Healthy but wondering how I get to transition back to normality, whatever that looks like.

Personally very relieved that I can still earn a daily crust after seeing many many colleagues laid off in the last few weeks and over the moon that my partner is still healthy.

How about we replace happy with relieved/dodging bullets/gainfully employed, etc.

There are 100 dead and 3 million unemployed or on job keepers..brace yerself for recovery.

Small rant over.
