Good Answer ....!!

From Michael Moore's Film ..Planet of the Humans ( Documentary )

Best line in the film.

Interviewer asks Sir Richard Branson if he thinks Al Gore is a prophet. Branson grins and asks ' how are you spelling prophet (profit)?'

Coming from Branson, that's rich, especially considering what he asked of the UK government now his airline is failing dramatically (they fired 3000 staff yesterday alone). The twat offered his own private island as collateral...like yeah, that'll do it.

Anyway...

Sacking staff is a good way to get a governments attention and a bailout. Virgin Australia is doing the same thing, while its billionaire shareholders sit on their wallets waiting for government to come to the rescue. In Virgin Australia's case those shareholders are middle eastern oil sheiks.

Give any business in Australia money if they are a bit short particularly so they can still pay their shareholders good dividends...what we need to do is have folk seeing Australia as the safest place to invest...it's like throwing out bird seed ... It's not as though money is real any more..heck just print it out and hand it out.

When this financial crisis due to the virus is over there will be a lot of people looking for a safe place to invest ...if you find a country where you just can't lose where do you think you would place your cash...what we throw around will come bach multi fold...we do need to address tax however but that's another story.
