CCD Calculator

Hi All has anyone use this program CCD Calculator from The New CCD Astronomy ,and how do get it to work once you have downloaded it

Yes,
I use it all the time.....
Just select the telescope from the drop down list and similarly for your camera - you can also select a suitable target object to better visualize the FOV
It then gives the plate scale and the possible FOV.
If your telescope or camera are not listed you can manually enter the details....

Do you have a particular issue????

Hi Ken what is happening after I download it and install it , then when I open it ,it wants to reinstall again and if I go to the program files and open it their it loads all the pictures

Hmmm
I have the download files in a CCDCalc folder in c:/ not in program files....
I just run the ccdcalc.exe to bring up the info screen etc.

Not sure why your's doesn't do the same.....

Thanks for your help Ken I found what was wrong ,it was the silly old fool on the keyboard looking in the wrong place for it .Got it up and working not a bad tool to have.

It's great, use it all the time when building scopes, buying\checking out cameras and EP's.
