Martian dust storm...in Canberra

This one is a corker! Couldn’t even see the other side of the airport at one point. Brace for it Sydney!

It surely is Lawrence of Arabia weather down here.

But maybe it's actually cover for the aliens to land without being seen, like at the start of Close Encounters ...

Well, I think the Aliens had already landed, seeing it was the first sitting day of Parliament today

This was RAAF Fairbairn this afternoon around 1745.

Helped a neighbour find a cat tonight by spotlight - was like a light sabre cutting through the night...still masses of fine particulate in the air, now settling because of the abating wind.

This was the sun rising over Terry Hie Hie on that dusty morning.
Was on my way out to Moree, where visibility remained low as I’ve ever seen it out here in my short life
