NGC 300 Reprocessed

Spent 2 hours reprocessing my NGC 300 Image to reduce noise , improve fine detail on Spiral arms and reduce stars bloating.Changed colour bias to a more blueish tinge
In Startools I used the following changes
Binned at 35% instead of default 50%
Stretched image using Develop ( set at 90 ) instead of Auto develop
Deconvolution at 2.0 with a star mask
Wavelet Sharpening at 250 instead of default 100
Contrast at 60%
Life module using Isolate at 60% with a Mask around galaxy
Noise reduction at 6.5 instead of default 4.5
Used read noise compensation set at 25%
Used Magic module to tighten stars by 1 pixel

I think it is a slight improvement on the original posted image

Thanks for looking , comments welcome

That’s fine to use my settings but be cautious as these settings work with my image and may not necessarily work successfully with other images
With Startools you have to vary your workflow to get the best out of your processing and final image
Startools like a lot of processing software needs plenty of time to get the best out of it
I’ve been using it for nearly 2 years and I’m still learning the modules
Cheers
Martin

The reprocess was very worthwhile Martin. A great improvement IMO.
