Double-barred Finch ( Taeniopygia bichenovii)

This brings back memories of when my father had black hearts, double bars, emblemers, gouldians and quails. Finches are great little birds to watch and photograph.

Hi Wayne. I use a Canon 7D, and a 400 5.5 L lens. Its a bit old hat now, but does the job.

If you grow tired of the 400mm 5.6L let me know, old kit but professional grade combination. I just bought my 7D last night there going for a steal second hand.
