Lucky wedgetail shot

Pays to have your camera set up and at the ready, this bird was sitting on a pole by the road and as usual took off when i hopped out of the car i was able to get off a couple of shots

Great effort.
I have been after them for years but so hard to get close.
Even with 200 mm they stay far away.

thanks guys, Joe, the lens is the 60-250mm f/4 ED DA* my work horse, it lives on the camera and i am rarely without it
