NGC3628 Hamburger Galaxy

I went back to look at some of the data I got the other night at the same time as the tarantula. When I first processed this it just didn't seem right, so I tried again using a different process. I think it worked out reasonably well for such a hot night.

24 x 120 sec ISO800
flats, darks and bias from the taratula session - the camera and focus didn't move.
Processed in PixInsight

The deconvolution made the bright stars into crosses a bit, but it did work well sharpening the galaxy.

Good effort
Similar to what one would see this galaxy in a large scope from a dark site.
Cheers
