M16 Resurrected

Putting the broom through my data from last year, I thought I'd try to resurrect this. It's about three hours of M16 shot with the SBIG 8300c & my old C8 @F10. The stars in the original master had significant coma due to the lack of a flattener/reducer so I ran it through the lens distortion filter in Ps which tidied them up quite a bit. It's a bit black clipped & over saturated but I thought it might be worth posting anyway in lieu of any fresh data. Comments welcome as always.
Cheers,
Tony

Resurrected quite nicely - the pillars look great.

Good revamp Tony, that extra focal length makes a big difference in revealing some good detail in those Pillars and that PS filter has corrected the stars nicely.

Thanks for your comments Tony & Mick. I was pleasantly surprised myself actually. I have since acquired a Japan made 6.3 reducer for the C8 so if the weather ever clears I'll give it a shot at some of the smaller galaxies that are looming on the horizon. Here's a bi colour version just for fun.

The stars have come out great as have the pillars. Nice crop and angle too.
