Parks, Celestron & Russell Optics eyepieces

Hello,

Selling three eyepieces.

1, 13mm Celestron Ultima LX, in excellent condition. The Ultima LX line is a brilliant match for SCT's, and very underestimated line. Very easy on the eye to use over extended observation time. I have the 8mm Ultima LX that is one of my favourite eyepieces in my C8, using it frequently for the lunar sketches I do. I just don't use longer focal length eyepieces than 8mm in my C8 so my beautiful 13mm needs a new home. Note, this eyepiece is not for scopes that are not an SCT. Complete, with lens caps and box. Asking $140 posted. SOLD

2, 65mm Russell Optics Super Plossl 'XL', in excellent condition. This massive focal length eyepiece is made with now rare Pentax lenses. A very unique eyepiece with its body made from Delrin, which is never cold to the touch and weighs very little for a 2" eyepiece. Very long eye relief of around 50mm. I am very fond of the image it produces, but I find I don't use this eyepiece any more. I have its 50mm stable mate which is staying in my kit. Has lens caps. Asking $ 95 posted. SOLD.

3, 10mm Parks Gold Series, in very good condition, some marks on barrel & glass is pristine. The Gold Series is a copy of the prestigious Masuyama design, without the price tag. Complete with original lens caps and box. Asking $60 posted. SOLD.

Photos to come.

Thank you for looking,

Alex.

Pictures added.

Here is also a review I did of a set of Russell Optics Super Plossls, including the 65mm XL of a mate who lent me his. It was through the experience from using this trio that I ended up buying a 65mm. Just one note about the review - please forgive my confusion of terms between AFOV, FOV and TFOV, Hopefully you will follow my meaning in the review. Man I was green then...:
