For sale is an as-new Argo Navis with 2 x high resolution 10,000 step encoders, 2.6m encoder cable and adaptors, DC power cable,and serial adaptor.


Note that one branch of the encoder cable needs another connector crimped on - easy fix.

Am I correct that this is only for "push to", and won't provide a "go to" function?

What other equipment would be needed to attach this to, say, a home made dobsonian mounted newt? Or, for that matter, a home made equatorial?

That would need a servocat or similar and ALT AZ motors.
