The AllView Mount is a multi purpose mount designed to be used as an alt/az GoTo astronomical mount; a motorised platform for taking panoramic photographs; and a stable platform for smooth panning or taking time lapse video or still images.
It comes with a multi-purpose mounting bracket for attaching a telescope, still camera or video camera. Dual optical encoders ensure that it never loses position--even when moved by hand. Supported by a stainless steel tripod, the mount is driven by a handcontroller which accesses a database of 42,900 objects.
There are three modes for shooting panoramic images--Easy Pano; Preset Pano and Time Lapse. The AZ GoTo mode provides automatic slewing across the night sky after performing a Brightest Star Alignment; a Two Star Alignment; or Daytime Alignment.
Other features include:-
* Levelling bubble provided on mounts base.
* Mounting brackets, which include dovetail bar, guiding rail, landscape mounting plate and portrait mounting plate, can be configured to hold two cameras in landscape or portrait mode.
* Time lapse mode permits a series of still images over a long period of time while the mount slowly moves.
* 12v power cord and adapter included. 10xAA alkaline batteries may also be stored in the mounts battery compartment.
The mount and all attachments have been well cared for and are in good condition. It works well and is capable of supporting a 150mm Mak without a murmour. A very portable, all purpose mount.
