SynScan WiFi adapter

I am trying to use this new bit of kit and have had some trouble connecting the adapter to my Android phone.

I'd like to do a factory reset to start from scratch, but although the destructions say this is possible, they don't say how to do it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Paul, quoting from the manual:

"The adapter can be reset to factory default after powered up and not accessed for 1 hour"

So it sounds like you need to plug it in and power on, then just not touch it from an hour...

I read that too. Made me wonder what happens if you walk away from your scope for an hour while the wifi is turned on during an observing session.

The factory default should be a special condition - if there’s a device connected to the adapter (i.e. something running the SynScan app) it should not occur.

I haven’t tested that specifically....I usually power the mount up and actually use it
