Hi all,
keeping in the star field area of our lovely home galaxy, I really wanted to get this one down as well as it has been a long while. (has reflection in it )
Man, what an absolute technical beast of an area to try and do justice to.
There is so much variance in differing areas. The reflection cast from the galactic tides of said objects really makes for a hard time with stars looking soft around the emission.
Didn't want to touch the golden stars too much as they would look like baubles... one recalcitrant red star that looked over saturated and had a very slow moving minor planet (673 Edda) graze along the bottom over the nights I took the majority of lum and colour leaving it's snail like rgb colour trail for me to clean up.
Trying to get some depth was a real issue, not really sure if I've achieved it though.
I've done that many versions of this, I'm just about over it.

So hit the thumb on my front page if you'd like a look.

Looks as though many have been out judging by the nice images... well done team, some lovely stuff!

All the best
Rich

Very, very nice Rich! One of the best shots of this area that I've seen.

Cheers

A beautiful photo Rich.

Sharp and detailed.

The rich colours and smooth tones give it a 3D like depth.

Very nice!

Ross.

Lovely work Rich. I particularly like the flow of the gas and delicate nature of how it looks in the reflection nebula. Very smooth image and now on my to image list.

That's a beauty Rich. Nice capture of the delicate bluish gas as well as the dark dusty material.

Greg.

Thanks very much Steve, Ross, Marc, Mike, Marcus, Louie, Paul, Greg and Darell for taking the time to comment

Had to finish this off as I knew the weather wasn't hangin' in for too long. As I type it's getting blowy with rain clouds have settled in.
Feels like a storm is in the air.

Be nice to see some different renditions at various FL so I do look forward to these.

Cheers again guys
All the best
Rich
