Just paid mine up for two nights with myself and Christopher, busy month in November with three weekends in a row doing something, though I can't make Vicsouth this year.

Got mind sorted yesterday.

I think I have most of what I need, still have to get a red torch though.

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Now to buy a new tent, and a trailer for some of the gear. With potentially three of us coming the amount of gear has out grown my ute! Two EQ6 type tripods, an EQ6, an AZEQ6, at least three scopes (One of them a dob) ann all the assorted stuff that comes that it. And we need the back seat now if there are three of us.

About time you put the counter up Jen - otherwise I'ld miss the camp altogether!

Well done with the obsy too - are your bringing it on a trailer to SVAC?

Speaking of trailers, I just bought a covered 6 X 4 as the amount of gear we are bringing nowadays was getting challenging in the ute.

I just bought new sleeping bags too, I have paid for a cabin (Which Andy01 is in too) but I will be in my nice new tent with the young bloke. We were pretty cold last time out so a couple of -10 sleeping bags and mats to keep us from leaking too much heat down through the stretchers was the go.

Hi everyone, gotta get myself organised for the S.V. star party, have not done much since March, so it's back to "newbee" status for me, I'll Try and get my registration in this week. Been busy doing other things since the last star party. I just about forgotten what teacher Jen taught me ha ha.
It'll be good to catch up with fellow astronomers. I may have a prospective new member, if Jen does not harass him. ha ha.

Paddy,

That’s a shame ... but we’ll reserve a spot in Dob Alley and have a nice red in your honour

Malcolm is going to get sick of me asking for the next target

Catch you next camp

Paul

The possibility is growing - I will be in Melbourne from Thursday. All being well, I'll find my way to camp for an over-nighter - now to pick the best predicted weather evening and get myself there.

No gear - just wandering around annoying everyone and trying to get a look through people's scopes
