admiring venus and the crecent moon

what a gorgeous view this morning, am taking a happy snap and will post later but visually its superb

and its the shortest day of the year for us

and I am in the doghouse

Yes lovely sight early this morning, didn't bother to try and photograph it, there would have been instant cloud the moment I got the camera out, but lovely and bright and clear at the time.

My morning shift, pushbike ride to work can start any time from 03:00 - 04:30 and heads basically East. Admiring Venus as the Morning Star is a treat I never tire of.

thanks for your input, really wasn't going to put any more images here as i just wanted the chat but here is another shot from the morning just before i had to pack up and go to work.

the thing i like about this one is showing the crescent phases of both celestial bodies

Was very noticable through the condensation on my taxi windows this morning heading to work, tempted to stay home tomorrow and try to capture it.

Saw a beautiful sunrise with the moon and venus today when arriving back from Korea. The phone camera photo doesnt do it justice
