William Optics Star 71

I'm selling this awesome scope as it's not getting used enough and I'd rather it go to a good home than gather dust.

It's this model.
It comes with a Canon EF adapter which I have been using, via an EF->E-mount adapter, with my Sony A7s.
It comes with rings and a dovetail bar. It also comes with the WO carry case.
The scope is in great condition with minimal signs of wear. The glass is excellent. The dovetail bar has heavy signs of use but it works fine.

I'll post some better pictures over the weekend but you can see it in the attached picture. Note that of the objects in this picture only the scope+EF adapter+rings+dovetail bar are included in this sale.
For some images taken through this scope see this little write up I did about this scope as part of a travel setup: https://hughsblog.wordpress.com/equipment/

Price is $1300, postage extra. Inspections are welcome if you're around Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Thanks for looking

Hi Graham,
It doesn't need a flattener as it produces a completely corrected image. Check that link to the description, that should explain it better than I can. I only ever used it with my A7s but I think it would work well with a QHY8.

Also I replied to your PM

P.S. you'll need to get an adapter to be able to mount your QHY8. I think an M48 to whatever the camera takes - but check as I'm just guessing!
