First light zwo1600 verse zwo 294

Finally got to give my new zwo 1600 pro camera a run last night . Below is a single 180 sec sub with the zwo 1600 pro with a 7nm HA filter and a 180 sec sub with l enhance with a zwo 294 pro for a bit of a comparison . No processing on either image i just took a screenshot . Both taken through 120 esprit .

Hi Pkay . Only took 18 days for my 1600 to arrive at my front door. I went for the zwo 1600 8 postion EFW pro kit with 7 filters .

I’ve got a similar setup except I have the Esprit 100 still haven’t managed to take my 1600 for a run but am encouraged to see why you can get with it.

Well congratulations on your first HA grab. I bet you got a surprise I know I sure did.
And when processed you will be surprised again.
More work but it's worth it.

Very interesting to see the comparison, quite a bit more visible with the 1600MM shot, although that is no surprise. What is the streak/line leading from the central area of the mono frame out to the lower right corner, though?

Hi Kuz,

Did you order direct from ZWO? Did you have to pay customs fees or GST as it came in to the country?
