Itelescope old data.

Last night i missed my 30 minute window of no cloud so i went back and found some old data i took in November 2016 of the horsehead.
It was LRGB with Ha but i never worked out how to process properly.
I just stacked the lot then played with the channels but it never looked right.
Ive now learnt a bit more since then with a corect workflow and for the 3 min subs its not too bad.

Ahh thats right its a 20inch Planewave worth about $30000 US , a $10,000 FLI camera, plus mount, guider, pcs, software, plus multiple accessories , maybe thats why a 3 minute sub looks good.
I bet just the cabling is cost more than all my equipment put together!

Good to play with equipment like this even if it is remote access.
Still cant wait to get outside after the rain and wind today!!!
I do miss our Yorke Peninsula house for clear skies.

Lum 5 min x 1
Red 3 min x 1
Green 3 min x 1
Blue 3 min x 1
Ha 3 min x 1

Itelescope t31 ( siding springs )
OTA:*Planewave 20" (0.51m) CDK
FLI-PL09000* CCD camera

Cheers
Andy

Always a fascinating target.

Might give the remote access a go one day just for fun.

I wonder what the green artifacts are?

Good one Andy.

Thanks for that Peter.
Still cloudy here so Ihad a good look at the green channel and its full green dots and squiggles.
I'll have a play with photoshop later as with this cloud I can only clean everthing and collimate so much.
Well even with $$$$ gear its still up to you how to use it.
Cheers
Andy
