Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn captured on the 10th August 2018 from Sydney, Australia.
SkyWatcher Newton 305/1500 on EQ8 mount
ASI 290 MM
Focal length of 6250mm with Baader FFC
That night the seeing was very good and I took the chance to capture these four planets.
Venus: IR channel only, 3% of the frames stacked.
Mars, Jupiter and Saturn: IR R G B, 20% of the frames stacked.
Very nice indeed, lovely details! Any reason why Jupiter & Mars are each mirror reflected N-S (so that features such as Oval BA appear to be preceding the GRS)? Saturn appears not to be mirrored.
Adriano,
They all look fabulous,
Saturn is specky and some nice detail showing through on Mars which is great,
refreshing to see the shadowing of Venus too.
Well done!
