set up help

hi. I have assembled my new kit. heq5 pro,ed80 and zwo guide camera but cant get everything up and running together. Installed software, ascom, eqmod, phd, backyard eos, stellarium. The only one working is backyard eos. tested mount, works with hand control, tested zwo, works with sharpcap as imaging camera , all new cables. The software doesnt connect with equipment. Im far from a computer savy person so after a couple of days googling and watching you tube im about to head explode.

If any one within a couple of hours drive from Port Macquarie wants to give up an hour for one to one I will load up and drive to you.
Thanks

Have you installed the prolific driver for the usb to serial cables. Quite a few of the cables are not good quality. Open device manager and check that the driver is there and on which port it is communicating.

Download Stellarium Scope and enable it in the Stellarium plug-ins then start Stellarium with Stellarium Scope and see if your rig is connected. I'm in the Lismore area if that's any good for you.

August last year was v0.18.2
v0.18.3 was released in December last year, and at present, it's still current latest.
