Jupiter 11 Jun 2018

Hi all

Quick results from last night ahead of a cold front. Captured at F20, final image reduced by 97%. 8 minute animation shows field rotation.

Was going to wait for Mars to get higher but seeing deteriorated fast and there was a forecast of showers so decided to play it safe and pack up. Looks like rain is on the cards for the rest of this week.

Lovely detail you've captured here Sabastian, subtle processing has made this a fine image of Jupiter, great effort for a quick result.

Wow, very natural!

Sometimes Jupiter images that show fine detail can come across as overprocessed but this one looks as if you might see it standing upon one of its distant moons looking up with the naked eye.

Nice job.
