Sbig STF 8300m for sale. Price reduction again.

Hi Guys.

I reduced the price down to $2000 as $2375 seemed a tad much. Now $1900

The next item I have for sale is my SBIG STF 8300m. I have mixed feelings about selling this because if I do, I'm out of Astro for good. However, I haven't used my gear in two years.

It is in perfect working order. I still cools as described and has no scratches on it.

It will come with a USB cable, two-inch camera adaptor so it will slide into the telescope. It will also come with an upgraded pelican style case. The one that came with it was rubbish. Although the upgraded case is smaller than the one it came with, it is way more durable.

I loved this camera, it takes amazing shots.

I'll post some images I've taken with it and also some dark frames you can see there are no bad columns.

RRP is $3375, I'm looking for $2000 I'm not interested in anything less as that is the amount I need to buy a 16-35mm f2.8.

Postage would be about an additional $25 due to the weight, I would imagine that insurance would be around the $40 if you want to go that option. I'd need to check.

Here is the blurb and specs

I'll post some images taken with the camera this afternoon (Friday), and some cooled darks on Saturday. I'll provide a download link so you can check the EXIF data if you want.

Thanks

Sorry, it also comes with the power supply.

Images and darks.

Here is a link to my one drive folder, it has 5 10 min dark files so you can see there are no bad columns. The exif data will also confirm the cooler is functioning correctly.

A bit of history about the camera.

I bought this camera back in 2013 so yes, it's 6 years old however I only used it for about 18 months before I moved house to where I can no longer do astrophotography. The camera has been stored in a pelican case since moving. The camera works as new. In the dark you can see a lot of dead pixels but this is 100% normal for this chip, they dither out and subtract from darks. The thing you worry about is dead columns, not pixels.
Everything on this camera works 100%
