Carina Nebula

Taken with an EOS 7D Mark II, EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6, and a Skywatcher HEQ5 Pro. 24 x 60" lights, no darks, flats, bias, etc. Stacked in Siril and processed in Pixinsight. Any constructive critcism would be greatly appreciated!

(I know there's star trails - that was because of my poor polar alignment )

Its a good image, like you said if get that alignment spot on you should have some crackers. Also having that alignment will also allow you to get a better focus and that will help make the image pop..... I like you colour adjustment, but colour is always a personal perspective

Thanks Carl! I love this colour scheme as well, and I'm surprised how good it looks given my DSLR is unmodded.

Someone showed me how the NINA polar alignment routine worked, so hopefully I should be able to get arcminute polar alignment next time!
