Times 3 comets.

Hi,

Here's images of C/2013 US10 (Catalina) ,10 x 1minute subs ISO 6400. C/2014 Q1 (PanStarrs ) 10 x 1 minutes subs ISO 1600 and P/Kopff 22P 5 x 1minute subs ISO 6400 for 31-08-2015.
Catalina's tail has changed over the past month and seems to have little structure, at least in DSLR RGB.
... Panstarrs, fainter but still holding the same tail structure.
P/Kopff seems to be somewhat fainter than mag 10,1 in guide 8.
8” F/4 astrograph , baader type 3 coma corrector,. HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Camera.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D plus cooler box.Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker .Processed in Photoshop Cs2..

Cheers,

Justin Tilbrook

Lovely shots Justin! I've been a bit slack lately and haven't been up to my usual comet hunting. Now that the Moon is waning I shall have to at least try for Catalina again.

Very nice but where's Tempel 2?

Catalina looks awesome with such a starry background.

Ah, Tempel 10P is the one I meant. SkySafari is calling it Tempel 2. Pretty faint!
