DayStar H-Alpha T-Scanner Filter with a .45 angstrom

Sold
DayStar H-Alpha T-Scanner Filter with a .45 angstrom bandpass. This filter is in near perfect cosmetic condition and works perfectly.
$2500 AUD

This filter is a T-Scanner so it works unpowered. It shows the solar prominences very well.

The aperture is standard 32 mm. Views of the solar granulation are very special.

This is an original Dell Woods H-Alpha T-Scanner previously owned by the famous solar guru Bob Godfrey. This filter is a real performer, originally sold for over $5000.
Was sent to Daystar for a check up 5 years ago. Comes in original wood box with a couple of extenders, original wooden case.

DayStar no longer sells a T-Scanner unit with tilt adjustment. All they have is the new Ion housings and this can be upgraded to that if you wish, from them.

DayStar Filters stand-alone Filters may be used on a variety of telescopes.
Telescopes over 60mm aperture require an energy rejection filter.
A Daystar Filter also requires that your telescope will operate at about F/30.
As no F/30 telescopes exist, owners use a barlow to bring their telescope to ~F/30.
An F/6 - F/8 telescope requires a 4X barlow
A F/9-f/12.5 telescope requires a 2.5X barlow
A F/15 telescope requires a 2X barlow.
