Nice effort Louie,
It's amazing to pick up mag 11 to mag 12 from Sydney.
Did you do some heavy smoothing of the noise or was that how it came out?

cheers
Allan

Hi and thanks Al

The lum was quite good, but the colour even binned 2 x 2 was a real pain in the butt.....had to kick the crap out of It mate.

I'm shooting NGC 253 as well, and again, the lum looks good being shot in good seeing...... I'm going to have a problem with colour again under poor seeing.....thems the breaks

Nice result Louie, no kicking necessary. Like Steve says, perhaps a bit dark but there is some good detail showing within the galaxies

Nice one mate. Good to see you out again. Did an allnighter on the helix yesterday. At it again tonight with better seeing.
