EOI:Takahashi FSQ106ED

I am thinking about selling this scope and getting something a little smaller it is without doubt the best scope i have had and there will be the option to buy the specific Feathertouch focuser as well

which one is it? The first non fluorite version (EDX1)?

No it’s the 2 with 2 fluorite elements I’m lead to believe

The FSQ Quadruplet in question has dual Ohara FPL53 ED elements similar to the TOA

Going off the images you can tell it is a Non-Fluorite version because it has Red Name Bands on the Dew Shield, the fluorite version FSQ-106N, had Blue Name Bands on the Dew Shield. Hard to tell from the images if it is a ED, EDX, EDX4 because the focuser has been changed and the ED had the Captains Wheel rotator on the original focuser but because it has an upgrade Starlight Focuser it doesn't matter what series it is because the optics are the same throughout the series.

Yes it is the ED version and yes it has the captain’s wheel I have someone coming to have a look at it today and looks like it’s sold but will update where we are with it later on today and thanks to all who has inquired didn’t think it would generate the interest it has
