ED80 F/7 Scope ' OTA

Saxon ED80 f/7.5 OTA only , has mounting block & lens cap , 2" crayford style focuser But no 1.25 adapter .

Great condition overall ' sharp images - $440 .00 New offer from $280 , see 14/9/19 post .
I will go half's in the postage as it will be fully insured .

Just to add more about this scopes optical performance .

I had a prism diagonal arrive today so tried it out using a 4mm eyepiece with a 2x apro barlow giving 300 mag to view a distant bird , could see fine detail in it's feathers & eyes .

Still clouded out tonight ~ bugger .

Photo day time

Took this photo though this scope by just holding my camera close to the eyepiece , those big horizontal wire's in front are just out of focus .

I used a 4mm eyepiece & 2X barlow to push up the mag 300 to take this image , better then the theoretical 3x1mm that would give 240mag max .

As I'm into Newt reflectors & wish to buy more gear ' I need to let go of this nice ED80 , now offered from $280 & hopefully more for one week starting now , best offer will score it on the 21st September at midnight EAST .
