EOI - Takahashi Heavy Duty Metal Tripod $2600 ONO

Considering sale of my Takahashi Heavy Duty Metal Tripod.

This tripod is the most stable tripod I have ever used.....rated at 450kg Load.

It is easily capable of supporting a EM400/EM500 class mount or Large AP or Paramount with a large OTA like Mewlon 300 or bigger instrument.

Build quality is typical Takahashi excellence........The tripod would be ideal for someone with a large mount & payload who wants the most stable Astrophotography or Visual tripod that is portable to star parties etc

There are no dents or issues with this Tripod but it has been used in the field so has a few rub marks on the legs from use.

The ONLY reason I am considering selling is that I have my Mewlon 300 & EM400 setup permanently on a Pier in my observatory and the Tripod is now redundant and taking up space.

New Price via A.E.C is $3699.00 AUD + freight but will consider reasonable offers via PM.

Will add some photos shortly........

UPDATE: after getting some unrealistic offers just thought I would mention I am thinking around $2600 Or Nearest Offer that represents a saving of over $1000.00 for a new unit

This is the best tripod I have ever used.

What tripod will you use for your t-rex and TOA-150 later?

Seeing a couple of people have asked......it is very easy to have an adaptor machined up to match most mounts......for example the adaptor for my TREX

So the tripod is not limited to use with Takahashi mounts.

Also the head allows the use of adaptors that can be rotated in azimuth for easy Alignment with mount and payload on top
