Solar activity 22 July 2020

The guys in Europe are shouting about a new white light spot just coming into view in the SE.

Hampered by cloud, but the new spot AR2767 is looking good!
Very symmetrical, nice umbra and penumbra - ideal for assessing the Wilson effect.
Bright (?!) faculae in the surround.

Hurrah - hope it hangs around for a few days, or at least until the clouds go away!
