The only time he got flustered was when he had to Digitise the Captain and what about when he practised on the Pig monster

Until today I had not heard of Galaxy Quest. If I watch it will I get life membership of some society?
Will I become a better person?

OK I watched the movie last night. I liked it, I liked the engineers laid back approach to almost everything. When he got something right " group hug"

I've had Galaxy Quest for years, and love it. Along with Mystrery Men, it is one of my favorite comedies. It really takes the mickey out of the faded, out-of-work Shatner-type actors. It's clearly a dig at Shatner and the whole Star Trek following.

Guy: "I know! You'll need to make a weapon. Look around... can you construct some sort of rudimentary lathe?"

I love Sigourney Weaver's role and her job of repeating to the crew everything the ship's computer says...

"Look! I have one job on this lousy ship, it's stupid, but I'm gonna do it! Okay? "

Jen,

I can't get into Star Trek... Galaxy Quest is completely different. It's a comedy.

It's a great movie. Watch it!
