Large Magallenic Cloud

First attempt at the LMC

Taken from Coonabarrabran with a Samyang 135mm on Canon 500D Mod with Skywatcher Star Adventurer Pro. 5 x 120 sec ISO 1600.

Thanks to Jeff at Wobblesock Obs and his Dark Sky site

Nice lens. Shame you have a bit of pattern noise. Dithering would help with that when stacking.

Yes Ill use the inbuilt dither function next time. RA only so will probably go for 0.5 arc minute

In my experience given the size of the pattern I'd go all out in DEC and RA by at least 5 to 10 pixels.

Ha added

Added some Ha 5 x 60sec. Just helped to reduce walking noise and add some depth.
