test of STC Astro Duo-Narrowband Clip Filter

Hi all.
Houghy kindly lent me his new STC Astro Duo-Narrowband Clip Filter (Canon EOS R/Rp/Ra) to try on my system.
Wow its an amazing filter, narrowband HA and O3 in one go.
Just 3 x 5 mins on the Lagoon, full size here https://www.astrobin.com/83kyv2/
and only 2 x 5 mins on the Helix here https://www.astrobin.com/fx73rd/?nc=user

Very easy to colour balance, in IRIS, after calibration and converting back to colour, draw a small rectangle on sky background, type in "white" command, it neutralises the sky background colour. Now looking forwards to doing several hours worth on the Helix with longer subs, say 20 minute subs or so. In Live View there were plenty of bright enough stars to focus on with the Lagoon, but not the Helix, just one bright enough just.

The clip filter means the off axis guider sees unfiltered bright starlight.
Scott.
