Solar Activity 6th Sept 2020

Quiet surface, but a couple of proms.
In Ha and Cak.

A fine set of images once again, interesting getting the prom in Cak, didn't know that was possible, do now though. Good stuff and glad to hear the weather is more co-operative today. Partly cloudy up here.

Very nice images Ken. The prominences look great.

Look forward to your images

Ken,
I love the way you regularly present Solar activity in H-Alpha, CaK and White light.

May I ask how you mask the Sun surface in H-alpha showing a black disk with detailed prominences ?

Graeme,
I use Sylvain's CORONO

http://sweiller.free.fr/Softwares/Corono/corono.html

Easy and accurate to use - recommended.

Guys,
Thanks for the positive support, appreciated.
The CaK filter assembly I use is a DIY construction, it has the narrow bandwidth which should pull out the CaK line detail.
I've had "shadows" of proms before, but this one.... just made my day!!
