My ASTRO-PHYSICS 1100GTO has arrived.

Today I had the pleasure of setting up for the first time my new 1100gto. I had always said that I would not open any boxes until at a mates place with my three astro buddies.

It was a fantastic afternoon of laughs and putting together a true piece of engineering masterpiece. The finish and precision is outstanding and the thought process to conceive, design and deliver this amazing looking mount has amazed me.

I am know waiting for my TEC 140 which is due next year and between then to decide on a camera. Tough times ahead.

Thank you JJ Paul and Adam.

I will just post all photos of the event and yes I am the one that has caused the torrential rain in Southeast Queensland.

I think the young lad looks sad because he's not going to see much
of you in the evenings.

That's great news.

What version chip in GTOCP3 did it ship with? They just sent me 'V' in the mail, no charge of course. I think 'V' may be needed for APCC, which Marge suggests is only weeks away

What a beautiful mount. How long did you have to wait from time of ordering?

Congratulations!

Thank you all. It is very exciting. H it took exactly 3 months and 1 day from the time I placed the order with Advanced Telescope Supplies until it was at home. I am very impressed with that.

I heard the "vintage" mounts are better. I'll swap you an AP900 for it, Mark
