Flea3: comparison of 8 and 12 bit imaging

On 9/10 September I imaged Jupiter with my Flea 3. Transparancy was poor,seeing moderate. Besides the regular IRRGB images, I also compared the 8 and 12 bit modes and the result is seen on

I processed the images the same way and also the difference is not dramatic, the 12 bit images seems more detail-rich and less noisy. I wonder which resukts others have obtained comparing the 8 and 12 bit mode.
