Been trying EAA with my Celestron SCT 9 25 Evolution. Using an asi120mc-s on alt alz mount. Thd beauty of EAA, no EQ mount needed, can be out and back inside in about 2 hours, dont need to spend hours. No EQ mount to setup, do Alt alz quick and easy.
Will never match astrophotography and is between visual and Astrophotography certinaly better than visual and practical very similar to video astronomy and use Sharpcap to do the live stacking and de rotation on the fly.
Unlike trying to do astrophotography on an alt alz mount not limited to the 30 sec limitation.
Just don't expect astrophotography quailty, but can be done, without an EQ mount. Just don't let someone tell you, you need an EQ mount, but you may get better results with EQ or Wedge.
