Keyhole Nebula

Last nights capture of the keyhole nebula. Given I’m already fighting bertole 7-8 skies, the moon will now be my enemy for the next 10 days or so.

Looks good mate, I like how the C5 brings it in close, I see you went for the 350 to get your reds up.
Like you I'm not keen for the moon coming as well as the temp that follow, 41 for Wednesday to Friday. Might point at the moon, it's been a while.

Nice work Ryan,

Lovely shot especially from your backyard bud...

Looks like that 350d's a keeper...

Looks good Ryan. I love the detail.

With the moon out and it being too damn hot here I stayed in even with a clear night. The thermal noise from the 550D and even my new to me modded 1200D is a real challenge and I think the temps the next few nights would just amp it up even more.

Thanks guys. I’m pretty happy with how the 350 performed. The next challenge is to take it out to the dark site and capture something more faint.

The temp isn’t kind at this time of year but it is what it is and is not going to stop me from learning new things

Looks great Ryan, thanks for sharing mate
The nebula is very crisp, your focus looks like it was right on the money.
