It's hard to imagine not having Kepler up there, I'm still trying to deal with the demise of Cassini . They gave us such good findings for close to a decade, got spoilt infact with the pouring of information, more that came the more I wanted. I never thought of the day they would stop. Thanks for the article, I've shared it on our fb page.

ran out of fuel. Result of typical mentality of use-once and throw-away? Couldn't they have put a larger sun sail on it in order to keep ability for camera positioning, imaging and downloading?
If no longer in search for exoplanets, Kepler might have continued to be used for other purposes.

As with the name sake ,,, showed the human race how the universe really is , until now , also RIP the atomic heaters .
