Dietmar does it again - APOD of NGC1365

Well that's a hat trick now, my colleague Dietmar Hager just advised me of the third APOD out of the Arkaroola Remote Observatory, this one of NGC 1365 in Fornax.

That is an awesome image of 1365. Lovely colour and pin sharp. Arkaroola data strikes again.

What gear was this with? The APODs never give any photo details.

Hi Peter,

Planewave CDK20 f/6.8 telescope (D=508mm, EFL=3420 mm) with IRF90 rotator/focuser.

Planewave A200HR GEM with the 0.07 absolute encoders.
FLI Proline 16803 CCD camera (9um pixels, FOV 37 x 37) + Apogee 10 position filter wheel loaded with 50mm square Astrodon LRGB-HaO3S2-VcRcIc filters.
Lodestar autoguider mounted in an Astrodon MMOAG.
Housing is a 3m Scopedome with modified shutter (so the 20 can see zenith!).
The exposures were all 30min long at 1x1 binning, 9/5/5/5 hrs of LRGB.

Cheers everyone.
