Star Grazing. Ben Lomond 22-23 April Star Party

The town of Ben Lomond in the Northern Tablelands is planning an astronomy event that hopefully will becom an annual event. The town is at about 1400m altitude with very dark skies.
Info is available here https://ne-nsw-stargrazing-festival.tumblr.com/
A great oportunity to see the skies from a safe high altiude site in Australia.

If you have registered interest in this event you would have received an email, (actually two) overnight with details of the venue, over head map of the town, and other information on the two public nights. It is still on.

Check here for the link to their survey on attendance, and maybe there is stoll time for them to send you the pdf file.

I have no idea what is happening on the private nights to follow, which may interest members here. This event has not been well promoted here, but it maybe they were intentionally aiming at public outreach crowds and not us. There is no phone number as far as i know. Perhaps Terry B has more information on the final nights.

I don't have a phone number but they respond to the email stargrazingteam at gmail.com
(change the "at" to @)
Sadly I can't go as I'm working in Armidale and can't leave town even for a few hours.

All the email info i received says Grazing. Perhaps the ABC has copyright on Stargazing as a result of their tv show, who knows.

I too originally thought it was spell-check run amok, but it is indeed Grazing! In the first info pack they explained the minor wordplay based on the agricultural nature and history of the region.
