What do you want to use it for? Imaging? visual? with tracking? with GoTo? Do you want just enough to get by or allow for future growth?

You could put it into a Celestron CG5 or a Meade LXD75 , that'll give you plenty of options and will more than handle an 80mm refractor. You can buy LXD75 and CG5 mounts complete with tripod and drives under $1000 brand new , and probably get one or a clone on Ebay for under $400 + shipping.
