ASI AIR and CGEM

hello folks,
was watching a youtube the other day and it mentions a direct USB type c connection to the Celestron next star hand controller from the ASI AIR - I looked at mine and zilch, but my HC for the star sense has one.
Is there an upgrade hand controller or am I missing something as usual?
I am trying to work out if it would be useful, as I know you have to align before the ASi AIR actually works ----
I am trying to run a solar set up from indoors so I don't get burnt outside.
cheers
